2021 brought some good things for the live event industry: a Covid-19 vaccination program, record orders for manufacturers, some original ways to safely return to large-scale entertainment events, including Covid-checking beagles, and the reopening of Broadway and concert tours. Live Design had a pretty good year, too. In October our very own creative director and industry legend, Ellen Lampert Gréaux, won a coveted FOLIO Ozzie and Eddie Award for her coverage of Super Bowl LV Halftime Show. And of course, we had a spectacularly successful LDI2021 in Las Vegas in November. We'd like to thank our many sponsors and exhibitors for committing to the live event industry's recovery.
We'd also like to thank the thousands of attendees who showed up to see demos, buy products, take professional training classes, and party at the Circle Bar. We can't wait to see you again next year at LDI2022, November 14-20, 2022.
