Live Design’s Ellen Lampert-Gréaux Wins Folio Ozzie & Eddie Award For In-Depth Coverage Of Super Bowl LV Halftime Show

Congratulations to Live Design’s consulting editor and LDI creative and conference director, Ellen Lampert-Gréaux, on winning the Ozzie and Eddie Award for Series of Articles, Technology. She was honored for her work  covering the entertainment technology behind this year’s Super Bowl LV Halftime Show.

The Folio: Eddie & Ozzie Awards recognize excellence in print and digital content and are the most prestigious industry accolades, attracting several thousand applications each year.

The winners were announced at a gala at New York City’s Metropolitan Pavilion on Thursday, October 14.

Lampert-Gréaux says, “It’s an honor to be recognized for our in-depth coverage of the Super Bowl LV Halftime Show. Like the players on the field, it’s a team effort, with support from the content producer (thank you Meghan Perkins) and all of the designers and companies that help us make a touchdown by providing their drawings, light plots, and credit lists in advance, or on the night of the show, so we can kick off as soon as the show leaves the stage, then do follow up interviews as soon as they recover from this super-challenging event. And thanks to our sponsors this year, All AccessPyrotecnico, and Tait, for their support in creating this Super Bowl LV Project In Focus, a visually and technically compelling story that lends itself perfectly to a B2B series of articles.”

Live Design's VP and Market Leader,  Marian Sandberg, joined the rest of the Live Design and  LDI team in congratulating Lampert-Gréaux. "Ellen is, and has always been, a pivotal member of our team, when it comes to market intel, editorial coverage, or just her incredible ability to connect with the community. This award is no surprise to her colleagues. Amazing job, as always!"

The pandemic hit the live entertainment industry hard, and it is a credit to the designers and technical crews that they were able to pull off an extraordinary show under challenging conditions.
