VERSE: The Art Of The Future, An Augmented Reality Exhibit

Live Design stepped into a brave new world at "VERSE: Art of the Future," an augmented reality holographic exhibition at Non Plus Ultra’s space above Glenarm Place at the Denver Pavilions in Denver, CO. Stepping inside, a live saxophonist plays while a couple of live artists paint, bringing a feeling of excitement. Surrounding the gallery space are blank walls where QR codes are displayed and lit with only a few colored LEDs and some catchy phrases in neon lights. As we waited in line for our headsets, we were offered a delicious CBD mocktail and a slice of pizza, and couldn’t help but ask ourselves “what are we in for?”

At our turn, we were presented with an Enklu Mobile AR viewer and Microsoft HoloLens 2 mixed reality headset. Once we were geared up, the gallery walls came to life, allowing us to enter the metaverse. Immersed in a holographic experience we were able to check out the latest in NFTs, holograms, and digital artwork. This immersive event holds true “that you can experience 3d technology, see art, and have conversations with your friends at the same time.”
