Andi Watson has been designing Radiohead tours for decades, and his stage designs have even been the subject of the book Bullet Proof...I Wish I Was: The Lighting & Stage Design of Andi Watson, complete with a foreword by lead singer Thom Yorke.
Watson will discuss working with the band, focusing on Radiohead’s ongoing 2018 tour. A departure from the band’s last outing, more linear and rectangular design, this production design focuses on curves and avoiding edges entirely, layers of video and projection, and his usual dozens of pre-programmed songs since there’s no permanent setlist.
