Hurricane Harvey Knocks HGO, HGO Builds Resilience Theatre

When Hurricane Harvey flooded The Wortham Theatre Center, home of the Houston Grand Opera and the Houston Ballet, with twelve feet of water, HGO needed to find a new venue for their 2017/2018 season. Their new home? Exhibit Hall A3 in George R. Brown Convention Center. Vincent Ferraro, master electrician for Houston Grand Opera, discusses the trials and tribulations of hosting an opera season in a convention center.
