Los Angeles, CA — May 13, 2019 — Road case manufacturer Fiasco has recently beefed up its US operations by making a new appointment to the role of West Coast Sales, David Caruso.

Caruso is working out of Fiasco’s new shop in Los Angeles, though his role will see him travelling extensively throughout Southern California. His addition to the team means West Coast customers now have a point-person dedicated to meeting their needs.

Caruso’s role involves being on the road, meeting with customers, and providing them a hands-on experience with Fiasco’s products. “Our customers are busy people, so I’m looking forward to making their lives easier by coming to them in their places of work,” says Caruso. “If anyone wants an at-work demo, they just need to say the word.”

Meet the open file format that’s revolutionizing entertainment industry workflows.

Together, GDTF and MVR are a free open standard file format that ensures lighting fixtures work the first time, every time. This non-proprietary data exchange keeps changes synchronized, whether it’s moving from CAD to console or from console back to CAD. Watch our video to learn more.

Fiasco’s focus on producing superior off-the-shelf products means customers can get road cases quickly and in bulk, without the long lead times sometimes experienced in the past. Furthermore, the new service center is equipped with the machinery and expertise to customize existing stock exactly according to customers’ needs. That all equals fast turnaround for products tailormade to customers’ exact specifications.

Prior to joining Fiasco, Caruso spent much of his career working in the film and television industry. The California native has earned a reputation for getting the job done, which is why Fiasco believe he is the right man for the job. Fiasco co-owner Joe Bradford says, “David has a proven track-record as a troubleshooter with a killer work ethic. Right away, we knew he was the perfect fit for Fiasco.”

For several years, Fiasco has had an East Coast counterpart to Caruso, Brad Dring. A veteran musician, the Nashville-based Dring has been serving Fiasco customers on and near the Atlantic Coast. Caruso’s arrival allows Fiasco to more easily cater to a much wider geographical area, which spells big gains for live event companies based closer to the Pacific.

“I’m excited about joining the Fiasco crew,” enthuses Caruso. “Fiasco makes such excellent products. I can’t wait to show potential customers why I believe these are the best road cases out there.”
