• USITT • 4pm Eastern: Forum@Four: Making History: In Hamilton, the props helped not only to tell the story but helped to create the world. How is the first rap battle like the Hulk, why does only one letter have a red ribbon on it, how does the burn letter go out at the same time as the light cue? Final Day; Design Showcase East was founded in 2001 by Southern Methodist University as a way to present our recent MFA graduates to the New York City market. The event usually serves as a job fair, portfolio review, and a welcome to New York for the next generation of designers. This year, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Design Showcase East will be held virtually. Guest speakers include Wendall K. Harrington and Justin Townsend. More Information.
