According to Broadway.com, the creative team for the Off-Broadway production of Into The Woods has been revealed.

Lighting designer for Rocky, Christopher Akerlind will light Rapunzel, Cinderella, and more. Darron L. West will be the sound designer, and Whitney Locher will design the fairytale costumes. Tony Award-winner Derek McLane will design the magical setting. For the Fiasco Theater's production of Into The Woods in 2013, the directors did not want a forest, but something more abstract so McLane designed the set as the inside of a piano, according to American Theatre. The stage was lined with layers of hundreds of piano strings, going from bass to treble and remaining true to the angle and pattern of a grand piano. Since it was open, light was able to come through the strings, creating a forest effect without ever needing a single tree. Fort the full article, visit American Theatre.

Noah Brody and Ben Steinfeld will direct the Roundabout revival at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. Previews will begin December 18, and opening night is set for January 22, 2015.
