I Love a Piano, a revue of the music and lyrics of Irving Berlin, runs January 29 to February 15 at the Arena Stage at the Lincoln Theatre in Washington DC, with lighting design by Stacey Boggs, set design by J. Grandel, and musical supervision by Stephen Purdy…Also at Arena Stage February 6 through March 15 is Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance, directed by Pam MacKinnon, with set design by Todd Rosenthal, costume design by Ilona Somogyi, lighting design by Allen Lee Hughes, and sound design by Timothy Thompson…Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College welcomed Australia's Expressions Dance Company last month where they performed the New York City premiere of the multimedia dance theatre piece, Score!, with an artistic team comprised of set and costume designer Tanja Beer, lighting designer Nick Tomlin, and sound designer Abel Valls…The American Repertory Theatre (A.R.T.) presents Samuel Beckett's Endgame at the Loeb Drama Center, in Cambridge, MA from February 14 to March 15, featuring set and costume design by Clint Ramos, lighting design by Scott Zielinski, and sound design by David Remedios…After ushering in the New Year for the fifth time at the London Eye, lighting designer Durham Marenghi starts a busy spring with the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Committee of Asia's new HQ in Kuwait; a new water park show at OCT East in Shenzhen, China with Mark Fisher and the Generating Company; Dancing On Ice-The Tour with Torville and Dean; and the Classical Spectacular for Raymond Gubbay at The Royal Albert Hall…Previews begin February 27 for the new musical Happiness at New York's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theatre. The musical will have sets by Thomas Lynch, costumes by William Ivey Long, lighting by Donald Holder, sound design by Scott Lehrer, orchestrations by Bruce Coughlin, direction and choreography by Susan Stroman, and musical direction by Eric Stern.
