Syn-Aud-Con 2007 Schedule

Synergetic Audio Concepts (Syn-Aud-Con) has released its workshop and seminar schedule for 2007, highlighted by the addition of two new workshop courses: "EQ 07" and "Hums, Buzzes And Things That Go ZAP!", both to be conducted in Salt Lake City this coming July.

"EQ07" will present a comprehensive and holistic approach to sound system equalization, from the drawing board stage of a project through the final commissioning process. It will incorporate past and new methods as well as offer a look at what is on the equalization horizon.

"Hums, Buzzes & Things That Go ZAP!" will cover a foundation of theory and practical knowledge to provide system users with the tools they need to deal quickly and effectively with hum, buzz, and other noise problems in contemporary audio systems.

In addition, Syn-Aud-Con will continue to offer its much-lauded "Sound Reinforcement" seminars, updated to reflect current technology and trends including application of digital technology. "Sound Reinforcement for Operators" provides attendees with knowledge that is essential for operating a sound system. "Sound Reinforcement for Technicians" covers the theory behind how systems work, and demonstrates how to use instrumentation to look "under the hood" to troubleshoot systems. "Sound Reinforcement for Designers" integrates the art and science of room acoustics with sound system design.

"Sound Reinforcement for Operators" and "Sound Reinforcement for Technicians", both two-day courses, will be offered consecutively in February, April, and May, with an additional "Sound Reinforcement for Technicians" presented at the NSCA Expo this coming March in Orlando. "Sound Reinforcement for Designers", a four-day course, will be presented in February and June. Additional seminar dates for the remainder of 2007 will be announced at a later date.
