Scott Crossfield Joins Theatre Projects

Theatre Projects Consultants, Inc. (TPC) is pleased to announce that Scott Crossfield has joined its US office.

Crossfield has been a theatre consultant for 11 years and is a former principal of the theatre consulting firm Davis Crossfield Associates. At TPC he will specialize in auditorium design and theatre planning, working as a senior consultant in TPC’s design department with John Coyne, director of design, and Brian Hall, principal theatre designer.

“I have been a long-time fan of TPC’s work, which I believe is reflected in many of the theatres that I have designed, and thus my desire to work at TPC,” explains Crossfield, “I am excited and proud to be joining the company, which I consider the best in the world. I am looking forward to sharing experiences, stories, and ideas and am especially looking forward to collaborating with such a talented group of people.”

Crossfield has consulted on the design and construction of over 200 theatre projects in the US and abroad, including: Playwrights Horizons, 42nd Street in New York City, Contemporary American Theater Festival in Shepherdstown, WV, Southwest Center for the Performing Arts in Amarillo, TX, Two River Theater Company in Redbank, NJ, Teatro Paramount in San Turce, Puerto Rico, Bratton Theater at the Chautauqua Institute in Chautauqua, NY, and Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts in Raleigh, NC.

He is a member of the American Society of Theatre Consultants, the United States Institute for Theatre Technology, the League of Historic American Theaters, the Theatre Historical Society of America, and the Construction Specification Institute. Crossfield holds a BFA in Drama from Carnegie Mellon University.
