Frank Martin Appointed Installation Sales Manager for Meyer Sound Germany

Meyer Sound has appointed Frank Martin to the newly created position of Installation Sales Manager at the company’s office in Polch, Germany. In his new post, Martin assumes responsibility for sales and support for the installation market throughout Germany, as well as in Denmark, Sweden, and Finland.

Martin brings to Meyer Sound more than 12 years of experience in electronic systems sales, installations, and project management, including posts at Atlantic Audio GmbH in Düsseldorf and Neumann-Elektronik Service GmbH in Mülheim, where he gained knowledge in video, telecommunications, and security systems, as well as audio. Those positions schooled Martin in the requirements of installation projects in auditoriums, nightclubs, government buildings, transportation terminals and broadcast facilities, knowledge he is eager to share with his new customers.

“One of the challenges in doing successful installations is navigating some of the non-technical aspects, such as meeting regulations,” Martin says. “Meyer Sound has always been about superior customer support, so helping our clients with my experience in all aspects of installations is something I will do to provide the best service possible to the German market.”

“We are fortunate to have somebody with such broad experience joining our team,” says Jim Sides, managing director of Meyer Sound’s German office. “Frank’s depth of technical knowledge will greatly enhance our capabilities in the fast-growing installation market.”

For his part, Martin feels that his appointment is an exciting step for which his varied background has prepared him well. “I am very pleased to be part of the continuing growth of Meyer Sound,” says Martin. “Over the past decade, I have noticed the increasing presence of Meyer Sound products across a broad range of prestigious installations throughout Germany and Scandinavia. I look forward to contributing to continuing that trend and further broadening our customer base to include an even wider array of professional and commercial sound applications.”
