Engineering Harmonics Inc. Opens New York Office

Engineering Harmonics (EH) has opened a New York office operated by Roger Gans, a 30-year veteran in the industry with extensive experience in opera, theater, theme parks, and touring shows. Gans served as resident sound designer for the San Francisco Opera for more than 25 years and was responsible for some of the first large-scale classical music concerts in venues all over the U.S., Europe, and South America, and Asia. He has designed sound systems for touring shows and worked on Disney Theme Parks in Tokyo and Hong Kong.

Gans will manage U.S. operations, supported by EH’s in-house technical expertise, and is working on a variety of projects including the recently opened Wyly Theatre and Winspear Opera House in Dallas, James Madison University in Virginia, renovations at Minneapolis Orchestra Hall and Manitoba Centennial Concert Hall, and the International Airport expansion in Calgary, Canada. “Roger‘s role and our NYC presence is an exciting and important next step in the continued improvements to our service offering.” says EH president Phil Giddings.
