Autograph Heads For The Hills

UK sound specialists Autograph have been awarded the contract to supply the new London Palladium version of the legendary musical The Sound Of Music.

This new production opens in November and is co-presented by David Ian and Andrew Lloyd Webber, both of whom are featured in the Saturday evening prime time BBC One television program How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? a groundbreaking formula to find an unknown to play the part of the most famous singing nun in theatre or film history.

The sound designer is Mick Potter, who recently designed Evita at the Adelphi Theatre and in 2005 won an Olivier Award for his sound design of The Woman In White.

The Sound of Music is one of the all-time greats, first seen on the West End stage in 1961 and Autograph are delighted to be adding this to their list of exciting new shows.

“We are very happy to be continuing our presence at The London Palladium,” says Autograph’s MD Terry Jardine. “We have a long association with the theatre and it is particularly pleasing to be supplying sound systems in just about every major theatre in the West End.”
