Audio-Technica Names Greg Pinto VP Marketing

Audio-Technica U.S., Inc. has appointed Greg Pinto as vice president, marketing. A.T.U.S. president/CEO Philip Cajka made the announcement and said Pinto will guide a unified, long-term strategy to increase market penetration and overall brand visibility.

In his new role, Pinto directs Audio-Technica’s marketing efforts with a definitive understanding of the factors that contribute to sustained growth. Applying progressive branding, marketing and marketing communications tactics, Pinto will develop corporate objectives in line with industry trends. To identify emerging opportunities and create market-driven products, he will collaborate with A-T’s R&D/engineering department. His responsibilities include conducting research to accurately gauge industry dynamics and anticipate the impact of new technologies, while exploring the potential for entrance into additional market sectors. Pinto will also formulate and support an integrated communications approach, to encompass A-T advertising, Internet presence, public relations, literature, promotions and endorsements.

Pinto started his career with a degree in marketing from Miami University, OH. He most recently held the position of Managing Business Director for Beech Acres, and has served as General Manager at Evenflo Company, Inc. In addition, Pinto was employed by Newell Rubbermaid as Director of Channel Marketing in the Graco division, and Director of Marketing for the Century brand.
