31 Days of Plots: The Last Days of Judas Iscariot

To reflect on the creative, innovative moments of 2020 and to welcome the hope that the New Year brings, Live Design is conducting 31 Days Of Plots. Every day during the month of December 2020, we will highlight a different lighting design, from across theatre, concert tours, corporate events, and more.

"Illinois Wesleyan University's production of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, with guest director, David Koté, was clean and collaborative," says lighting designer Julie E. Ballard. "We had the opportunity to work with Quasar Science and their technology to have a fluorescent type fixture in the space that could change colors to add to the scenic designer's [Curtis Trout] vision of an unfinished courtroom in purgatory."

Check out other plots from the 31 Days here, and stay tuned for more over the next 8 days.
