The nominations for the 2019 Tony Awards were announced on the morning of Tuesday, April 30. The musicals garnering a nomination in all four design categories were Ain't Too Proud, Beetlejuice, and Hadestown, while The Ferryman and To Kill A Mockingbird swept the design categories for plays.
The American Theatre Wing's 73rd annual Tony Awards will be held on June 9 at Radio City Music Hall and broadcast live at 8 p.m. on CBS.
