Lady Gaga kicked off the Super Bowl LI Halftime Show from the roof of NRG Stadium, singing a mix of "God Bless America" and "This Land Is Your Land." She descended from a wire, executing a few acrobatic moves before using every inch of the expansive stage for her performance. Co-production design was by Bruce Rodgers and LeRoy Bennett, with lighting by Bob Barnhart of 22 Degrees. All Access Staging & Productions created the Halftime Show and pregame set as well as staging fabrication. Glow Motion Technologies created the on-field cast LED batons. Lighting was supplied by PRG, with LED systems from VER, and sound by ATK. Pyro and effects were designed and implemented by Strictly FX.
