Look Solutions To Unveil Touring Power-Tiny Fog Generator At LDI 2006

Look Solutions’ new Touring Power-Tiny will make its debut at LDI 2006, the largest US trade show and conference focused on technologies for live entertainment industries. Over 400 vendors of every technology used in producing a live event will attend the show October 16 to 22 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The company will be exhibiting in booth #874.

The Touring Power-Tiny is a travel-ready version of Look Solutions’ popular battery-operated Power-Tiny fog generator. The new product features a custom case designed to hold the Power-Tiny, its fluid, accessories, and a spare battery. Everything users need for fast and efficient fog generation in one portable unit.

“The Power-Tiny is designed to be portable, so it only makes sense to offer it in a flightcase version” explains Nathan Kahn, president of Look Solutions USA. “The compartment for the extra battery makes the system extremely useful and versatile.”

The Power-Tiny is the perfect alternative to full-size fog generators for live productions. Its light weight (12 lb) and small dimensions make it ideal for all mobile applications. The system has one-second heat up time for quick use on the set and consumes a minimal amount of fluid. The output of the Power-Tiny can be easily adjusted with a release button built into the grip for comfortable, one-hand operation.

For Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular, the unit is deployed by a deck-effects technician who walks across the stage with the Power-Tiny just prior to the lights coming up on the dungeon scene.

At the heart of the Power-Tiny is a microprocessor, which controls and supervises all important functions guaranteeing a continuous and safe running of the generator. Thanks to an intelligent control mechanism, the battery supplies energy only when necessary so the operation time is considerably increased: the stand-by time is 250 hours.

The Power-Tiny is equipped with a 3pin-XLR socket for analog control; XLR remote and wireless radio remote are optional. With a DMX converter (DMXit) the machine can be controlled via DMX 512. With the optional timer (TiMEit) fog and wait time may be programmed in precisely.
