Jayco And Dodd Technologies Produce Largest Dealer Event Ever

Jayco RVs called upon Dodd Technologies (DTI) to provide event production and content creation for its Annual Dealer Homecoming Meeting last month at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The event drew a record 500-plus attendees.

DTI provided staging, audio, giant/multiple screen video projection, graphics and presentation support, lighting, creative and production for the event opening video as well as a promotional video, a custom event theme song, breakout room A/V systems and support, and technical management for the event.

Due to the size of the Jayco event, which included a vast array of camping trailers, travel trailers, fifth wheels, class C motor homes, sport utility trailers, and expandable and lightweight travel trailers, two ballrooms were required, the Rio Pavilion and Brasilia. To “bridge” the two rooms, and to provide event theme/Jayco brand continuity, DTI provided a custom truss tunnel with automated lighting with gobos and signage. DTI also provided a giant projection screen system in the Pavilion where the Jayco products were displayed to project information, updates, and video.

"Our Dealer Homecoming meeting is the most important event of the year for Jayco--it literally sets the agenda for the upcoming business cycle,” comments marketing director Sid Johnson. “The expertise and creativity of the Dodd Technologies team plays a major role in the success of these important meetings. We always know they will be there when we need them with practical, inventive ideas."

“We’ve had the fortune of working with Jayco for several years now,” says Mark Dodd, President/Owner of Dodd Technologies. “Client relationships, such as the one we have with Jayco, make this business very rewarding.”
