A.C. Lighting Inc. has supplied 72 panels of Chroma-Q™ Color Web to Bradfield Stage Lighting for use on various shows and events.
A division of the Nashville-based production company, Bradfield Stage Lighting is a full service lighting supplier covering events ranging from outdoor lighting to social events to full concert rigs and installations.
Bradfield’s inside sales manager Chris Sliger heard of the Color Web through a customer and decided to demo it when he was looking for an LED solution to provide disco-style visual effects for a custom designed dance floor.
Sliger comments: “The Color Web is pretty unique in its design. Other LED products were in the running, but Color Web was just the perfect fit for this project and we were confident there’d be other uses/rentals for it as well.”
The webbing was used on a high profile Nashville society event that Bradfield works on annually to uplight the custom dance floor’s Plexiglass panels. Color Web’s 3.3'x3.3' pieces were the perfect size for mounting underneath each panel and due to the system’s LED nodes being clearly visible through the frosted Plexiglass, provided an eye-catching effect for the dance floor.
The Color Web was used mainly for color fades synchronized with the rest of the room lighting, accompanied by a number of pre-programmed effects used at various points in the evening.
