There have been six 2020 Democratic Party presidential debates thus far in 2019, with at least six more to come in 2020. Two of the debates were broadcast by CNN, which called upon Clickspring Design, who supplied the stage design for the first debates on NBC in June, to create equally winning sets for the July 30-31 debates at the Fox Theatre in Michigan and the October 15 debate at Otterbein University in Ohio, with lighting design by CNN’s Michelle Poley. Clickspring worked closely with fabrication and AV vendor PRG. Click through the slideshow for an in-depth look at the set design.
