Scenes From 2014 Broadway Sound Master Classes

The three-day 2014 Broadway Sound Master Classes (BSMC) event brought together Broadway’s top audio professionals to discuss the creative, technical, and practical challenges involved in creating sound for Broadway.

Legendary sound designer Abe Jacob (A Chorus Line, Evita, Rain: A Tribute To The Beatles) served as the creative consultant. This year's speakers included Mark Bennett (Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike), Peter Hylenski (Bullets Over Broadway), Lindsay Jones (Bronx Bombers), Bob McCarthy, Dan Moses Schreier (A Gentleman's Guide To Love And Murder), and Nevin Steinberg (Cinderella). There was also a very special appearance by legendary composer John Kander, who participated in a session with Nevin Steinberg.
