The AR effects were intended to give the song and act in question the added value of an effective “immersive experience.” The opening sequence had a virtual Marco Borsato walking on De Kuip’s eaves to then dive to the stage! During “Ik leef niet meer voor jou,” flames rose above the eaves and the entire stadium was set alight with virtual flames.
