Rent: Live is the most recent of the Broadway musicals transposed as a live broadcast experience and was seen on Sunday, January 27 on Fox. Lighting designer Al Gurdon, a 2018 KOI-USA Award winner, shares his plots, as well as a lighting crew list and gear list from PRG for his lighting of the multi-layered sets with scaffolding designed by Jason Sherwood to evoke the gritty industrial look of the Lower East Side in New York City in the early 90s.
