And their long-term collaboration has been incredibly fruitful. The Bon Iver: Autumn Tour came at a time when the band had released two almost consecutive albums. Brown explains, “This record cycle was unique in that it began one month after we finished the previous record cycle. So, we were planning and designing this new show for months while touring one of our previous productions.” This is less unusual than it might be for some other bands: “At one point last year, we had four different designs we had put together that catered to festivals, theatres, or whatever the production environment dictated.”.
