There’s a new queen in town. RuPaul’s Drag Race LIVE! took to the stage at the Flamingo Las Vegas in January and will reign five nights a week until this September. The drag queen variety show is based upon RuPaul’s Drag Race, an Emmy Award-winning reality competition television series in search of “America’s next drag superstar,” which began its 12th season on VH1 in February. To design a stage worthy of the world’s most famous queens, RuPaul and the production team called on Emmy Award-winning set designer, Andy Walmsley.
