31 Days Of Plots: Freestyle Love Supreme

lighting design for Freestyle Love Supreme

To celebrate the achievements of 2019 and to welcome all the prospects of 2020, Live Design is conducting 31 Days Of Plots. Every day during the month of December 2019, we will highlight a different lighting design, from across theatre, concert tours, corporate events, and more.

Day 16 features lighting plots by Tony Award-winning lighting designer Jeff Croiter for Freestyle Love Supreme, the hot, hip-hop Broadway musical created by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Tommy Kail of Hamilton fame, and Anthony Veneziale. Croiter will be featured in a Live Design webcast on his lighting for Freestyle Love Supreme on Tuesday, December 17. Click through the slideshow to check out the plots, and read all about his lighting design for this unusual improv production where busking is part of the nightly lighting task.

Check out other plots from the 31 Days here, and stay tuned for more over the next 15 days.
