LDI New Product: Adamson Systems Engineering S-Series

The S10 from Adamson Systems Engineering is a two-way, full range line array cabinet containing two ND10-LM Kevlar Neodymium drivers (two 16 Ω) and an NH4TA2 1.5” exit compression driver (8 Ω). Since low-mid frequency lobing is a common side-effect of traditional two-way enclosures, the manufacturer has introduced Controlled Summation Technology, which reduces the spacing between mid-frequency sources by outwardly splaying the drivers and using overlap control between mid-frequency and high-frequency sources to suppress the interference normally associated with this type of design. Doing this also allows the high-frequency sound chamber to retain its exit size, allowing it to retain its directivity control. The SlideLock rigging system allows one technician to fly the entire rig, setting angles while the cabinets are sitting securely on the four-up dolly. A stacking push pin allows the system to retain angular position when ground-stacked or when the tilt of the array necessitates. An install plate rigging system is also available. adamsonsystems.com
