Working In An LED World

The LED has become ubiquitous in the museum exhibition/architectural lighting world. Virtually every new specification employs the LED source as the heart of a luminaire system. Through the lens of museum lighting design we will explore the impact this lighting revolution has had on designers. We’ll look at design issues, optics, color rendering (what color is white light, anyway?) and tour a few projects that have greatly benefitted from LED technology. Plus a hardware show-and-tell to better understand what is pushing lighting into the 2020s. Steven Rosen IALD, president and creative director of Available Light, leads this LDI session. Watch now!
