Coolux Pandoras Box Version 5.7 And Compact Player

Pandoras Box Version 5.7 takes advantage of the Pandoras Box R3 hardware revision, comprising extended live video input capabilities with up to four times 3G SDI input or eight times HD 1,080p input, as well as an increased number of HD streams and image sequences that can be output simultaneously. Features include “Venue Sites” for visualizing complete stages, installations, and show-setups using 3D models, with realtime compositing environments to simulate video projectors virtually. The new version also includes a completely redesigned text editor, in which users can use and add an unlimited amount of text to a continuous text stream.

Advanced ASIO and HD-SDI audio routing makes it possible to input ASIO sound as well as HD-SDI embedded audio. Sound data can be used on ASIO tracks and programmed to the timeline, including different delays for different output signal chains. Audio inputs can now be arranged on any Pandoras Box timeline, or can alternatively be triggered via external commands. In addition to these major features, a range of improvements for a “pixel-oriented workflow” have been integrated. Also new is the latest version of Compact Player, with a Playlist feature for playback of multiple media files in a row without programming separate containers on a timeline sequence. A new software update will provide an additional timeline sequence to the Compact Player’s capabilities.
