Show Designer 2CF features a built-in compact flash drive, which lets users store the controller's entire memory on one 64MB compact flash card. Offering control of more than 1,024 DMX channels, it has two universe outputs that can be “split” to run different presentations in two separate areas. Suited to concerts, stage productions, and clubs, it commands up to 48 fixtures (up to 32 channels each) with 1,152 programmable chases, 4,752 programmable scenes, 1,152 programmable shows, and 1,152 programmable presets. It can operate a wide range of DMX-compatible lighting products and comes pre-programmed with a library of fixture settings. There are also fixture profiles available for download for more detailed channel information. The controller is designed for regular tabletop-style use but also includes removable rubber rails that transform the unit into a six-space, 19" rack mount. Other features include a pan/tilt joystick, eight faders for scene master playbacks, RS232 port for PC interfacing, and RCA audio input for chases.

MAC 700 Profile
The MAC 700 Profile is a mid-sized moving head that is designed to fill the gap between the 575W MAC 550 and the 1200W MAC 2000 Profile. The MAC 700 combines a 700W double-ended lamp and glass reflector technology. MAC 700 lenses come with optical coatings to decrease light loss and to provide a better projection quality. A full CMY color mixing system and eight-position color wheel are included, and all colors are replaceable. It includes the same gobo animation system pioneered by Martin with the MAC 2000 Performance. A fully motorized zoom is capable of beam angles from 14° to 30°. The MAC 700 houses a combined dimmer/shutter, a motorized iris, and a replaceable, rotating, three-facet prism. A new pan and tilt motor driver system provides speed for a mid-sized fixture. Its intelligent position correction system automatically returns the fixture to its original position if knocked out of place. The MAC 700 is only available with electronic ballast for flicker free operation, lower weight, extended lamp life, and a power saving mode.

The Equipchaine® is an electromechanical chain-lifting device specifically designed for theatrical applications. Each device consists of several modular elements connected together to suit the structural environment. Several chain drop positions are linked by the same drive mechanism that can be used to lift lighting bars, stage sets, and curtains of various lengths. The lifting mechanism is fully integrated within its own truss structure for easy fixing into existing spaces. The device can be simply placed on a structure and moved manually, and it has a system of trolleys for deployment of units to the required position above a scenic space.

Pelican Products 18" Cube Case comes standard with detach-able, stainless steel framed caster wheels and a recessed, built-in pull handle that will stay folded down when not needed. It has nearly 6,000 cubic inches of possible storage space for larger equipment, and its fully stackable design is compatible with most large Pelican cases. Additional extra wide handles allow for double hand holds on each side for lifting heavy loads. The case comes with four stainless-steel reinforced padlock protector holes for added security. A lid equipped with a polymer sponge o-ring provides a dust and waterproof seal, and a Gore-Tex® purge valve keeps moisture out of the case and balances interior and exterior air pressure.

The Klein+Hummel freePORT™ PAS 400, a new wireless, self-powered sound reinforcement speaker system, offers intelligibility for speech and music reproduction in outdoor and indoor gatherings of up to 400 people. Up to four Sennheiser Evolution Wireless G2 compact receivers or two rack-mount diversity receivers may be built into two of its compartments. An onboard high-power rechargeable battery with integrated circuitry allows up to 13 hours of wireless mode operation. The integrated mixer offers level control of two microphone inputs — one with phantom power — on Neutrik-Combo connectors, an auxiliary line level input with pairs of RCA connectors for both playback and recording, plus a dedicated channel for the Sennheiser receivers. The amplifier is based on a three-chassis design that powers the system's dual 6.5" woofers (1" horn) with a 15W/four Ohms speaker output. Its amplifier, in combination with efficient speakers, affords high SPL (116dB), optimal coverage, and feedback immunity.

Medialon Audio Server
The Medialon Audio Server (MAS) offers complete control of multiple audio tracks and integrates with Medialon Manager control software. MAS offers features for theme park attractions, background music, and any audio playback application, including museums and cruise ships. Each of its 24 to 96 independent channels can be synchronized to video, and channels can be synchronized independently or by group. Its “positrack” position tracking capability allows easy programming of video and light-effects synchronization to audio using Medialon Manager Show Control software. Additionally, several MAS can be linked over IP and synchronized together. MAS comes with its own control software that can be run on the server itself or remotely on a PC. The user interface allows loading of audio files, start, pause, stop, volume, balance, etc.

MH2 Dual-Mode Console
MH2 is one of the few consoles at its price level to offer VCA grouping. It features a high channel count within a compact frame, generous 11×4 matrix, eight VCA groups, and LCR panning. It has eight subgroups, ten auxiliary busses, and six mute groups. Available in 24, 32, 40, and 48 mono channel frame sizes — all with four full-function stereo inputs — the new console benefits from a monocoque chassis with individual channel PCBs, providing a mixer solution for applications that demand both a large number of channels and small footprint. As with the larger MH3 and MH4, the MH2 can be switched from FOH mode to monitor mode. Four stereo returns, each with a four-band EQ section, feed the main mix busses.

The 55 lb. TITAN 6000sx+ is the smallest in Digital Projection International's lineup of Professional Series displays. With the latest in Texas Instruments' 3-chip DLP™ technology, it features twin high-intensity discharge lamps that can run individually or simultaneously. TITAN delivers 6,000 lumens and 2000:1 contrast through native SXGA+ resolution (1400×1050). It has seven user-selectable inputs and seven-point color correction. Its yellow notch filter and xenon-color mode processing replicate the spectral performance of a xenon lamp. DMDs™ incorporate TI's Fast Transition Pixel technology for smooth greyscale and improved contrast, while sealed optics protect DMDs and other components from contaminants. Lenses have 0.73:1-7.3:1 throw ratios and vertical and horizontal lens shift. De-interlacing with SD and HD sources is processed using auto 3:2 and 2:2 extraction. TITAN will ship in the second half of 2005.
