White Light Adds New Staff & Products at PLASA

Entertainment equipment supplier White Light has hired Julie Harper as the company's new EPL sales manager for all of the products that the company distributes exclusively in the UK. Prior to joining White Light, Harper was with DHA Lighting.

Visitors at the PLASA show will have the opportunity to meet Julie and take a look at White Light's new products at stand G29.

New products on display will include the Digital Festoon System, a rethinking of conventional festoon lighting that allows each lamp to be individually dimmed. The system can be programmed using a laptop or can be controlled from a DMX lighting console for integration with a lighting rig. The Digital Festoon System carries both 48V lamp power and DMX; up to 200 lamps can be individually controlled on a single cable from each power unit.

Also on show will be the new DMX-controlled version of White Light's VSFX optical effects system. Fully compatible with all existing VSFX projectors and accessories, the new DMX-VSFX drive unit features built-in DMX control, allowing easier integration in DMX controlled lighting rigs.

White Light's stand will also provide a home base for many of the companies distributed in the UK exclusively by White Light. Representatives and products from Robert Juliat lanterns and Look Solutions smoke machines will be on hand, as well as examples of Rainbow color scrollers. This year ELC Lighting, a recent inclusion to White Light's lighting stocks, will also be present with their range of DMX and network products and accessories.

The 2004 PLASA Show also marks the return of the ever-popular White Light bar.

The 2004 PLASA Show runs from September 12th-15th at Earl's Court in London. Further details about the show can be found at www.plasashow.com.
