Weekend Forecast December 31, 2021-January 1-2, 2022

As 2021 winds down and we welcome in 2022, here's hoping for a happier and healthier New Year! Some things are uncertain, but fingers crossed that the industry continues to bounce back in a big way, and that the current cancellations on Broadway and elsewhere are just a bump in the road to recovery. In the meantime, Houston Grand Opera is one of the opera companies offering online streaming, in this case, the digital world premiere of The Snowy Day by Joel Thompson and Andrea Davis Pinkney, directed by Omer Ben Seadia and conducted by Patrick Summers. Available through January 8, 2022. Set design by Amy Rubin, costumes by Jessica Jahn, lighting by James Michael Clark. Perfect for the entrie family on a holidya weekend. Watch Here.
