With the introduction of the M2C-50, the company extends the industry’s versatile video-processing system to Spyder users seeking powerful live-application control.

The M2C-50 connects to the Spyder network without any extra software or special configurations. Users just plug in the power, connect the single RJ-45 connection cable to the Spyder network, and they are up and running. The console is automatically updated to the current configuration. The controller works seamlessly in conjunction with Spyder’s control software allowing simultaneous functionality and communication to the video processor securing flexible control of the application.

All of the new console’s buttons are user-programmable for easy adaptation to the show and the user. Multiple layouts are available at users’ fingertips.

Fast boot time--just five seconds--and control design allow for connecting, disconnecting, booting, and powering up live without compromising applications.

Multiple consoles and client PCs can communicate with the same Spyder server. Users can access and run scripts, command keys, and function keys; apply treatments; and select sources from a console environment. Embedded hardware architecture offers maximum reliability. It tips the scales at just 54 pounds. Its compact footprint measures 26.63"x10.25"x29.12".

The first new consoles have been shipped to AVI in Tampa and Dillon Productions in Atlanta.
