Video: Eurovision Part 2, Lighting Plot and LD Interview

Henk-Jan van Beek, founder of Light H-Art, spoke with Live Design from the Ahoy Arena during the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. Watch as he shares his thoughts on his favorite part of designing for the show, which is viewed by an audience of more than 180 million every year. The Black Mamba, Love Is On My Side from Portugal began in black and white and gradually introduced color and video.

The French entry, Voila from Barbara Pravi, was lit mostly with five fixtures.

Zitti E Buoni by Maneskin from Italy, this year's winner, incorporated multiple elements into the design.

Finland's entry, Dark Side by Blind Channel, had the crew head banging.
