VicStrip, An Acoustic Panel Made From Recycled Materials

Following the increasing demand for lightweight, flexible, and easy to apply acoustic solutions, Vicoustic designed and engineered an innovative panel that stands out from other strip panels as a sustainable alternative manufactured with VicPET Wool, a material produced mainly from recycled plastic.
VicStrip is a slat panel with a layer of laminate industrially bonded to the PET, that gives it a natural wood look, without using real wood. The laminate is now also available in white or black matte.
Drawn with the lines of contemporary styling decorative wall panels, VicStrip is accessible for anyone that wishes to provide offices, restaurants, hotels, and homes with a design embellished solution amid the added value of removing sound reverberation.
VicStrip main features:
VicStrip is an outlier among other slat panels for being lightweight, making it easy to transport and apply to walls and ceilings using only glue or screws. The panel is easy to cut and readjust to the room’s requirements, being free of wood, metal nails and with the joints almost invisible.
Washable and easy to clean, it’s humidity resistant.
The sound absorption properties of VicStrip help control medium and high frequencies, engineered at Vicoustic research lab for VicPET Wool. Aside from being a sustainable solution, it’s also a low-emissions material, for good air quality, meeting human-ecological requirements, without irritating skin or eyes.
VicStrip is available in two sizes (240x60cm and 270x60cm), and four wood patterns: Natural Oak, Brown Oak, Natural Walnut and Dark Walnut. The 240x60cm is now also available in White Matte and Black Matte. By optimizing the production process, VicStrip has been relaunched at a more affordable price.
