USITT Board, Executive Officers Installed

New officers and directors have joined the leadership of USITT (the United States Institute for Theatre Technology) and were officially installed on July 1.

Sylvia Hillyard Pannell of Athens, GA will serve one year as president-elect and then assume the office of president in 2006. Alexandra Bonds of Eugene, OR is the new vice-president for international activities. Kim Williamson of Scottsdale, AZ is the new vice-president for commissions. Both will serve two-year terms.

Also serving two-year terms are re-elected officers Joe Aldridge of Las Vegas as vice-president for conference; Elynmarie Kazle of Akron, OH as vice-president for membership & development; and Patricia Dennis of Duluth, MN, who is USITT's secretary.

Five new and one re-elected directors at large will serve three-year terms. Martha Marking of Boone, NC was re-elected. Serving with her for the 2005-2008 term are Ann Archbold of Madison, WI; Dan Culhane of Minneapolis; David Krajec of Menominee Falls, WI; and Brian Reed of Whittier, CA.

New officers and directors at large were acknowledged at USITT's Annual Conference & Stage Expo in Toronto, Canada in March.
