Ultratec Special Effects Launches Pulse Lift Plate™ System For Pyrotechnics

HUNTSVILLE, AL –  Ultratec Special Effects is pleased to announce the development and patenting of their new Pulse Lift Plate™ System (PLP) for integration with their pyro mines.

The Pulse Lift Plate™ System ensures consistent and tight star groupings when using mines. Additionally, it eliminates lift discs and plastic caps, making PLP™-based pyro products debris free.

When the user fires Ultratec’s pyro, there is no debris, and post-event clean-up is reduced. In addition, Ultratec’s pyro tubes easily slide out of the holding system. Add them to the recycling containers, and the local recycler can re-purpose them.

“Over time, pyro manufacturing technology has seen little change. However, our research and development team continues to push the technology envelope,” stated President Adrian Segeren. “This latest innovation, the Pulse Lift Plate™ System, is a game-changer for close-proximity pyrotechnics. The result is an eco-friendlier product.”

Ultratec’s line of 50 mm mines, including their new 50 ft, 75 ft, 100 ft, and 150 ft mines, are now manufactured using Pulse Lift Plate™ System technology. Additionally, PLP™ is included in Ultratec’s AngelFire® Mines and VSP Mines (Gold Strobe, Silver Strobe, Flitter, Pixie Dust, Gold Palm & Crackle). New 50 mm Color Changing Mines are also available in their PLP™ pyro product line.

“The initial response to the Pulse Lift Plate™ System has been positive. Pyro designers are always looking for something new and have begun integrating PLP™ Mines into their show designs,” added Segeren. “With live events ramping up, PLP™ Mine demand has been strong for sporting events, concerts, and theme parks.”
