The English lighting and sound sales specialist Stagetec has two new team members onboard: Rob Whitaker has been named project manager and Ken Poole is sales and marketing manager).
Whitaker, an experienced project manager in the pro sound and lighting industry, has recently been coordinating the installation of a wide range of systems into theatres and pubs for the Bourne Leisure Group. He also has extensive hands-on experience as a sound and lighting technician in venues nationwide. He’ll be working within Stagetec’s existing projects team, where, in addition to managing projects, he will be assisting in the production of designs and proposals for new ventures.
Poole has more than 20 years experience in sales, marketing, and customer care. He will also be providing practical support for the sales and technical staff. His music industry experience--as both a musician and a sound and lighting technician--includes involvement in the staging of hundreds of shows and events, plus loudspeaker design and construction. His sound business disciplines is expected to help Stagetec's ongoing commercial development, ensuring the company continues to offer the best, most cost-effective, turnkey solutions to clients with a variety of budgets and requirements.
