and Fourth Phase Orlando displayed their patriotism in Washington DC with two free concerts performed by the National Symphony Orchestra. The concerts were held on the West Lawn of the US Capitol and broadcast live on PBS.

The Memorial Day concert, hosted by Ossie Davis, featured musical performances, archival footage, and dramatic readings. Special guests included Charlotte Church, Chicago, and Tony Danza. The Independence Day concert, hosted by Barry Bostwick, featured Tchaikovsky's stirring 1812 Overture with military cannons, and a spectacular fireworks show. Special guests included Ray Charles, renowned pianist David Denoit, and flutist James Galway.

Tomcat manufactured a 26' custom curved white truss ladder for the tent structure that flew over the orchestra and supported six white Vari*Lite automated luminaires. For more lighting options, two 60' light-duty spans were manufactured with 10 custom vertical tubes in varying lengths to offer additional support.
