Production designer Tim Dunn has joined the UK’s nvisible Agency, a group of hugely experienced and knowledgeable independent live production professionals offering a dynamic range of project management and creative production services for events worldwide.

The nvisible Agency’s other core team members include some true entertainment industry mavericks! Founder and MD Mark Bustard and chairman legendary promoter Harvey Goldsmith are joined by show and event producer Jim Baggott, technical director Tim Spears and project director Luke Carr.

The music, performance, live event and entertainment industry has been Tim’s passion since he was a teenager, growing up in Sheffield, UK.

He has worked hands-on in all the primary technical disciplines – staging and rigging, lighting, video, audio and even catering – and in addition to production, tour and event managing, has held executive positions in leading rental operations.

Tim is known for his straight talking, deal-making, and love of challenges. His lively and innovative approach and fund of international expertise unlocks imaginative, practical, and appropriate solutions for staging all types of shows.

For 24 years, Tim was based in South Africa and worked extensively throughout the African continent, Asia, and the rest of the southern hemisphere on some of the highest-profile and most interesting productions, including dealing face-to-face with governments, politicians, and world leaders.

These include the 2010 FIFA World Cup Closing Ceremony, multiple SEA Games and Nelson Mandela’s Funeral.

All this top-level interaction underscores Tim’s ability to perform and make logical decisions under pressure, to troubleshoot in critical scenarios and to be direct and transparent in business.

Returning to the UK in 2018, Tim has been involved in numerous creative and ambitious projects with plenty more on the horizon.

“It’s amazing to be joining the incredible team of industry legends at nvisible!” he stated.

Harvey Goldsmith commented, “Tim is a very valuable part of the team. He is a perfect fit, bringing some unique skills together with exactly the right personality and can-do mentality to consolidate and reinforce our future visions, long-term goals and dedication to excellence in the creative planning and global delivery of international shows and events.”
