Mark Newlin joins Texas Scenic Company as a project manager, according to company president Glenn C. Martin III.
Previously Newlin worked as an electrical and controls designer in the EIM Division of Parkhill, Smith and Cooper, Inc. of Lubbock, TX for four years and as design and engineering manager at TOMCAT USA for 10 years. His work experience also includes touring with The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, and Reba McEntire, as well as serving as technical director of fine arts at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK.
"We are excited to add Mark to our engineering and project management group and know he will be a valuable member of the TSC team," says Steve Surratt, vice president/CEO.
Texas Scenic Company, established in 1936, is a stage equipment contractor based in San Antonio, Texas. TSC designs, manufactures and installs stage, studio and theatrical equipment for educational, entertainment and broadcast facilities.
