Steve Cullipher Joins PRG's Systems Integration Group

(PRG) announces that Steve Cullipher joins the company's Systems Integration team as a business development executive. Cullipher will be based in PRG's Orlando office. "Steve brings tremendous experience to our systems integration business," says Michael Tomkin, president of PRG. "He arrives at a time when we are seeing tremendous growth in that business, and will help us continue that trend."

Cullipher has been involved in numerous high-profile projects during his career, including the installation of area lighting systems at Universal's Citywalk in Orlando, the construction of the MSNBC Studios in Secaucus, New Jersey, replacement of the dimming and control systems for four theatres at the State University of New York (SUNY), installation of dimming and control systems for The Phil Donahue Show at Manhattan Center Studios in New York, replacement of dimming and control systems for NBC affiliate WRC-TV in Washington, D.C., installation of dimming and control systems for The Golden Moon Casino in Philadelphia, Mississippi, and replacement of dimming and control systems for the Folger Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, DC. He was also involved in the grand opening of the Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, the launch of the Spirit of America for the U.S. Armed Forces at the Capitol Center in Landover, Maryland, the dedication of the Ronald Reagan Center in Washington, D.C.; and the dedication of The American College of Cardinals at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.

Bill Groener, head of PRG's System Integration Group, has known Cullipher for many years and previously worked with him at Barbizon. "PRG is committed to profitable growth and expansion in our permanent installation business," Groener says. "Steve's experience and his presence in Orlando will positively impact those plans and be a tremendous asset for both new and existing clients."

Prior to joining PRG, Cullipher was a business development executive and project manager at Barbizon Lighting Company for over 12 years. Prior to that, he was the lighting designer and lead production electrician for National Events in Lorton, Virginia.
