Stage Technology will showcase its new sales and warehouse location at 3110 Washington Avenue North in Minneapolis in a Grand Opening scheduled for September 23rd and September 24th.
Stage Technology is the former catalog division of SECOA, which was purchased last December by John Mullen and Niles Sayre, two prominent figures in the stage equipment business for the last 20 years. Says Mullen, president of Stage Technology, “This grand opening helps us spread the word about what Stage Technology has to offer our local clientele. We are a national catalog sales organization, but we’ve expanded our services to include a showroom and rentals. We have a great walk-in location. Our intent is to give our local clients a place to see the newest technology, plus a convenient spot to pick up production supplies.”
The event will include refreshments, product demonstrations, and representatives from several industry leading manufacturers. In addition, it will show the latest products from Color Kinetics, SGM, and Audio Technica, as well as the new ETC intelligent Source Four fixture, Source Four Revolution. The Stage Technology staff will also be available to offer tours and speak with customers about products and services. “We want our customers to feel comfortable stopping in and chatting with us,” says Niles Sayre, Vice President of Stage Technology, “It’s our personal touch and understanding of each customer’s needs that sets us apart from our competition.”
