I. Weiss has announced a number of additions and changes to its staff.
Jennifer Tankleff, formerly drapery production manager, has been promoted to director of operations. She has been with I. Weiss for more than ten years and brings a broad range of experience to her new position. As part of her new role, she will continue to oversee manufacturing to assure the quality of the company's work.
Kate Mitchell, who joined the company last year, assumes the position of drapery shop manager and will work closely with Tankleff in this transition period. Mitchell's background in the theatre includes costume design, shop management and work with the Long Wharf, Alley, and Milwaukee Rep Theatres.
Brandon Harmon, who brings experience in theatre production and touring, joins I. Weiss' drapery department as Mitchell's assistant.
Jarid Sumner, who organized I. Weiss' CAD department 18 months ago will now also manage the installation shop to assure greater production ability.
