SPL Forms Spin-Off Company

Signal Perfection, Ltd., announced it has successfully spun off from its former parent company, Production Resource Group, Inc (PRG). The corporate name for the spin-off company will continue to be Signal Perfection, Ltd., but it will operate as SPL Integrated Solutions (SPL). SPL will include two other PRG divisions: Ancha Electronics and SPL Integrated Solutions.

Chad M. Gillenwater will lead the management team as president and CEO. Gillenwater was the CEO of Signal Perfection, Ltd., before it was purchased by PRG and served as president of the Systems Group for PRG. The existing management team, including Gillenwater, William Parry, Bruce Gauger, and Phil Dalen will remain in place. In addition, Nicholas Yancich recently joined the company as chief financial officer. Yancich previously held a similar position with Constellation Operating Services, Inc., a subsidiary of the Constellation Energy Group (Parent Company to Baltimore Gas & Electric).

Said Gillenwater, "SPL Integrated Solutions will benefit from the formal integration of three companies that were leaders in this industry. This will allow us to more effectively manage operations, cash flow, and vendor relationships as one company, and increase our productivity in providing new technologies and solutions to our clients."

Gauger commented, "SPL Integrated Solutions has over 125 AV technicians and over 50 AV engineers. We have successfully designed and installed a wide range of systems from hundreds of small video-conferencing systems for local corporations up to the integrated audio-and-video systems at the recently opened Aladdin hotel in Las Vegas. No other company can match our expertise in this industry."

SPL Integrated Solutions will be headquartered in Columbia, MD, and have purchasing offices in Chicago and St. Paul. Sales and integration offices are in 13 cities around the country.
