Solotech Remembers Wonderful MLB Field Of Dreams 2021 Experience

Toronto, Canada – Solotech is delighted to see America’s favorite pastime coming back on the field with the new Major League Baseball season at our doors. The 2022 season will feature the second installment of MLB at Field of Dreams game, opposing the Chicago Cubs and the Cincinnati Reds in Dyersville, Iowa, on August 11.

Solotech had the privilege to live a unique experience with Major League Baseball: its expert team contributed to building the real-life Field of Dreams, the mythical baseball field made popular by the 1989 movie of the same name, by providing all audio equipment and some of the lighting, staging, and draperies for what many people consider to be the best thing to happen to baseball in the last century.

“I’ve done a lot of shows over my 18 years with Solotech, but this one was very special; there is no doubt about it,” said Paul Ezers, MLB at Field of Dreams’ Account Executive at Solotech.

Building a temporary MLB-standard baseball field in a cornfield for this unique event came with its fair share of unique challenges. With its unparalleled expertise and adaptability, Solotech’s team successfully overcame the difficulties brought forward by Mother Nature as well as the unusual working site and accomplished this memorable feat.

“MLB was very impressed with the final layout as well as our coverage and our ability to adapt on-site. All and all, it was a spectacular show to be a part of. I do believe it cemented us into a good future with MLB.,” proudly stated Paul Ezers.
