Sennheiser Names Zembower New Business Manager

Sennheiser Electronic Corporation announces the hire of Dennis Zembower to the newly created position of business manager, guidePORT and Tourguide product lines. This key position was identified in the Sennheiser marketing restructuring plan and ably filled by Zembower who has over 20 years experience in museum management, with special focus on exhibition design as well as audio/visual technology.

Zembower's previous position was that of exhibits director at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center in Mashantucket, Connecticut. His knowledge of museum infrastructure and management gives him an edge in networking contacts among museum consultants, architectural and exhibit design companies. His responsibilities include market development and working closely with internal sales, as well as the sales managers in the field.

When asked why he was interested in this position, Zembower replied, "It's a perfect fit for my experience and capabilities, plus I was intrigued with presenting the guidePORT system to museums, theme parks and historic sites that all require self-guided tour, multi-lingual systems. My goal is to identify key designers in these fields and demonstrate the product's capabilities in the first phases of development. I understand the museum business from the inside and out. That, plus Sennheiser's stellar reputation for quality, bodes well for the future growth of this business segment."

Established in 1945 in Wedemark, Germany, Sennheiser is the acknowledged world leader in microphone technology, RF-wireless and infrared sound transmission, headphone transducer technology, and most recently, in the development of active noise-cancellation. Sennheiser Electronic Corporation is the U.S. wholly-owned subsidiary, with headquarters in Old Lyme, CT.
