Schenk to Lead PRG's Labor Services Division

PRG announced that Joseph Schenk III has rejoined the company to serve as the director of its labor services division, Showpay. Schenk will manage the division under the direction of Lionel ("Buddy") Stern, who has moved into a senior strategic role in the company.

As director of labor services, Schenk will manage PRG's delivery of labor solutions and payroll processing services to event organizers in Las Vegas. Stern will provide Schenk with guidance and support, as needed, while fulfilling his expanded duties at the company.

"We're very pleased Joe returned to PRG to lead our labor services business," stated Jere Harris, PRG's chairman and CEO. "Just like Buddy Stern, Joe began his career on the show floor and keenly understands the impact labor can have on the success of our clients' projects."

Schenk began his entertainment industry career in the early 1990s as a member of PRG's Las Vegas scenic operation. During his more than seven years of service in that operation, his roles included technician, foreman, project manager, and general manager.

"Labor crew quality has always been a critical factor in the success of any production," Schenk stated. "But with the introduction of many new technologies and changes in event size and complexity, it's now more important than ever before."

To ensure clients receive the very best labor support available, PRG has led the industry in the implementation of training programs for independent technicians. PRG has also played a leading role in the development of labor safety and certification programs.

"PRG has long been known for its ability to deliver the very best technicians in each market," Schenk added. "I look forward to continuing that tradition."
